Hello I am a long time herbalizer. I first got a vapor genie a couple years back, then some friends and I were trolling the interweb and saw these cheap vaporizers on ebay.. called the vp500 vape500 or whatever.. its a tiny goldfish bowl with a solding iron inside modded with a whip for vaping.

First of all the vapor genie, my first vape.. Its a good product, strong well made and a good company support. downside is, with the lighter application (I prefer torches) only I can get a good hit off it, my friends all burn it or get nothing. so I would say, good product a slightly steep learning curve.

2nd, the vp500 (noble globe type, there is another vp500 I think but this is the cheap globe one.. 50 bucks after shipping really convinced my friends while we were drinking and surfing. I would say.. even if you were trying to "just test it cause its so cheap" the frustration of wasting vaporizables and the "i'm not getting anything, you getting anything?" drove us a little mad.. I say save your cash and dont get the globe-style vp500. (thank me later)

3rd we finally coughed up more cash and got the happyvappy. we're pleased with it. Everyone seems to get nice hits off it and the long cord means it can get passed around easy enough.

I took mine apart (unless its really frowned upon in here, then I just used x-ray vision) and have to say, the build quality of this device is good. I can see quite little that can go wrong and all we do to maintain ours is keep it cleaned out.

picked up the tulip piece a little while ago, its a great upgrade.

I would say the vapor genie or the happyvappy are both good vapes I can stand behind, truth be told I hardly touch my vap-genie much anymore since I got the happy vappy. I would say the HV is tops for my picks because of its ease of use, and I don't have to inhale all the butane.

Now onto some questions from you seasoned users.

1. how long can I wait between pulls? so I get a little build up of vape, but don't want to just be burning it off in the chamber. Also sometimes Im playing games so I leave it on with my herb in there for 10 mins or so, does that waste it?

2. Do you find when you want a small session is it better to pack a full chamber, sip at it bit by bit, or just put a smaller amount in??

thanks for any tips or info. .

In between pulls can be....a long long time as far as I've figured out. I've had 2 versions of the HV for3 years now, and the only timing issue I have noticed is removing the stem during use (for me it's always a question about the evil teflon) will lose you vaporized THC. Leaving it in, well that's your choice but I never leave the stem in, with the unit on for more than 30 minutes.

Secondly, I've never really filled that chamber with herb. My nuggets are home grown organic, so sticky icky and easily manipulated, but I usually just use the pea shape size they show on the caddy. For one person, or for starters with two people, that's a quick 10-15 minute session taking a hit every few minutes or so. With my over-analyzing neuroses, I've found the pea size, of quality sensi, gets you 6-7 big tulip stem hits at full thc. After that you'll notice the change in taste and reduction of exhaled vape. I would assume a full chambers worth would get at least 4 people 4-5 hits each at full blast.
